Telephones

Telephones have been around for a long time, and many shapes, colors, and styles are available at the flea market.  Here are a few classics from the modern era.

The pink Princess, a classic among classics.  Available in many colors, both solid and pastel colors.  The dial would light up when the the handset was picked up. The futuristic Ericofon, designed in Sweden in the '50s, is featured prominently in the movie "A Crack In The World".  But remember, it hangs up when you set it down.

The groovy "Donut Phone" of the 1970's.  Available only in white, yellow, and brown, its striking design made it popular as an accent piece. The "Genie" phone, a more elegant and subdued design reminiscent of a magic lamp, came in a host of colors to suit any decor.
